Anthony Houston is the founder of A.J. Audio, a Production Company that specializes in live sound, studio engineering, production and stage management.
From his affiliation with the Audio Production Union of Dallas, Texas, Anthony has worked the stages of Artists such as Maroon 5, Kari Jobe, Chicago, Da Truth, and John Legend, just to name a few. Additionally, he has gone on to manage countless corporate events as an Audio Engineer.
Anthony is currently the Stage Manager and Production Volunteer Coordinator for The Potter's House (Dallas campus) where he oversees a team of 20 production volunteers, and the flow and transition of Sunday services and special events such as Mega Fest, The International Pastor’s & Leadership Conference, and Woman Thou Art Loosed. Additionally, Anthony manages and operates an in-home studio, where he provides private recording sessions, consultation, and coaching. He also manages the annual Morgan Hill Blues Festival, in California. Most recently, he has been added to the Tom Joyner Fantastic Voyage Cruise production team, scheduled to set sail April 2018.
A first-class entrepreneur, Peacock has been contributing to the well-being of since -- first as a Licensed Cosmetology Instructor/Stylist, and Certified Personal Stylist. In 2011, she co-founded Get Fit, Eat Smart, a Fitness + NEWtrition firm dedicated to providing the Accountability, Support and Action Steps that help women upgrade their ATTITUDES, their ABILITIES and develop the SKILLS they need to eat better, move more and make their health a priority.
Ultimately concerned with helping African-American women adopt the lifestyles they need to fend off preventable chronic disease, live longer and spend less on health care, Peacock's firm launched The Look Good, Feel Great (LGFG) Network. The primary strategy of the LGFG Network is to connect and collaborate with institutions valued by community members -- schools, churches, sororities, hair salons, etc.-- to advocate, educate, and increase access to culturally competent Fitness + NEWtrition strategies that address the modifiable behavioral factors for obesity:

- Social and economic issues.
As an educator, her successes include conducting a mix of academic, recreational and cultural workshops that emphasize easily achievable steps to better health for the students, parents, teachers, employees and community members of Fort Worth ISD, Tarrant County College, various Community Based Organizations (CBO) and countless Out-of-School Time (OST) Programs.

Lisa Kosters is a Certified LIFE Coach and Wellness Advocate. She grew up in a small town in Central New York's Finger Lakes Region. Having the natural love for mechanical components, she excelled in Math & Science. In her senior year in High School, she took Heavy Equipment, Repair, and Operation for FUN! Yes, she even rebuilt a Diesel motor and drove bulldozers and backhoes.
Later in life, she chose a technical career path in college receiving a 4.0 GPA in Computer Systems and Network Technology based on Cisco Systems. In 2007, once she relocated to Texas she began working as a Network Project Manager at EDS/HP. Her life turned 180° 3+ years ago as she struggled with health issues medical doctors were not able to determine the root cause of it. She heard about Holistic/Alternative methods for healthcare and gave it a try. It was a totally different method compared to what she was used to from a western world mindset (Root Cause = Holistic vs. Symptoms = Western world).
She was astounded by how quickly her body responded by changing simple practices in her daily life. She started with food and then added dōTERRA’s CPTG Essential Oils for ailments. After continually seeing positive results, she started sharing her story, building tons of new friendships. As a result of this new direction the Lord placed on her life, she has started an “Oil Revelation”. Computer science is foundational. Computer science is changing every industry on the planet. Every 21st-century student should have the opportunity to learn how to create technology. Computer science concepts also help nurture creativity and problem-solving skills to prepare students for any future career. Computing occupations are the fastest-growing, best-paying, and now the largest sector of all new wages in the US. At LAJC, we want to give every child the opportunity to learn how to Code! This session is geared towards ages 10-17 years old, but adults are welcome.
LaDonna D. Vick received her Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of LaVerne, California and in 2012, graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Masters in Public Administration from South University, Savannah, Georgia. Ms. Vick has over 20 years’ experience in educational programs for children and youth in the United States and abroad. Joseph Vick received his Bachelors of Science from the College of Engineering, Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Mr. Vick enjoys building and fixing computers, coding and designing homes.
Melissa and Brad Smith are founders of Prepared and Defended, LLC, a self-defense company focused on providing training for women in the areas of safety, security and personal protection. Melissa became inspired to teach women’s self-defense after taking a local R.A.D. for Women Basic self-defense class. She is passionate about helping women of all ages feel more confident and empowered.
Melissa and Brad are certified in numerous basic and advanced courses within the R.A.D. System of Self-Defense. Brad is also the President of Paul McCaghren and Associates, Inc., a Security Consulting and Investigations Company based in Dallas.

Her flagship program, S.T.A.R. Martina Van Norden
Martina Van Norden is an educational consultant, specializing in leadership development to public charter schools, faith-based organizations, and education agencies committed to developing effective school-based programs for students K-12. After almost a decade of classroom teaching serving urban populations in the District of Columbia and Prince George’s County, Maryland Public Schools systems, Martina transitioned into the non-profit sector to address educational inequity through economic and community development. Her passion for education and community development for low-income families led her to become an advocate for charter schools. She currently is a member of the Board of Directors for North Texas Collegiate Academy, a charter school district meeting the diverse needs of economically disadvantaged and transitioning families in North Texas.
Martina founded the Center for Educational and Economic Development (CEED), a non-profit organization supporting secondary schools in the District of Columbia make available educational programs that achieve economic impact. Her work in school districts of the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Texas offers valuable insight into the need for educational programs that create asset-building initiatives for students of economically disadvantaged families.
She is proud to be a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and author of The Edunia Experience: Master Teacher Lessons for Birthing Purpose (to be released spring 2018). The book has been written to help believers use principles of Godly purpose to become solutions to problems impacting the educational sector. She is wife to Dwayne Van Norden and mother of a blended family of five.

Valerie Gill is affectionately known as “The Scholarship Lady”. She has worked with students since 2011 assisting them with PSAT Prep/Creating their Educational Resume/Setting up their College Board Account and College Grid/Working on Scholarships/Applying to college before they walk through the door as a senior in high school, etc. Valerie has a successful track record of assisting dedicated students in gaining acceptance letters and applying for as much scholarship funding for college as they need.
Previously employed by MISD, 2010 – 2013, as Bookkeeper at Mansfield High School, Valerie has continued to assist more than 1000 students through the transition from middle school to high school and high school to college. With students receiving acceptance letters as early as September & October of their Senior Year. In terms of scholarship funding, Valerie starts with students as young as 13 years of age.
While the cost of education is skyrocketing, her services are welcomed by parents and her passion and concern for assisting students on their journey to their future are very important to her. Valerie is committed to assuring that students receive as much financial funding as they possibly can.

Sam Perkins is a retired NBA professional basketball player, also known by the nicknames "Sleepy Sam" and "Big Smooth." He attended and graduated with a degree in Communications from the University of North Carolina, won an NCAA championship in 1982 against Georgetown, was a Gold Medal winner at the 1984 Summer Olympics. He then played in the NBA from 1984 to 2002. Drafted 1st round 4th overall behind Michael Jordan by the Dallas Mavericks and made the all-rookie team. Sam Played 6 seasons with the Mavs avg. 17.7pts. a game and moved on as a free agent with the Los Angeles Lakers in 1991.
He played alongside Magic Johnson and ex-teammate James Worthy. Chef Julia Dunaway has been cooking since she was twelve years old and made family meals when her parents worked in the evening. She always loved to cook and prepared meals for her own family and friends until she decided to turn her love of cooking into more than a hobby. She enrolled in the Culinary School of Fort Worth after her youngest child entered college in 2008 and graduated with honors in December 2009. She received the Texas Chefs Association Student of the Year award in 2009. Chef Julia kept a blog about her culinary school experience, “Culinary School Chronicles” at www.chefjulia.blogspot.com. She continues to write about her current business, Chef Julia Personal Chef Services, and her travels.
Julia is currently a member of the American Culinary Federation and on the board of the Texas Chefs Association, Fort Worth Chapter.
