T.D. JAKES SCHOOL OF LEADERSHIP INAUGURAL CLASSES BEGIN JULY 25 7/17/2013

Partnership with Regent University Provides Professional Certificate Programsand Leadership Institutes for People Wanting to Increase Opportunities.

DALLAS, July 17, 2013 – The inaugural class of T.D. Jakes’ School of Leadership is filling quickly and nearly ready to start. The initial course offerings include entrepreneurship, digital media, church media and project management. The fully accredited, industry-focused certificate programs offer those enrolled a chance to sharpen or learn new skills.

Education is often the key to overcoming obstacles. As a lifelong learner, I am excited about the possibilities and opportunities this will present to those who need a chance to learn a new skill, so they can get that next job or next promotion,” said T.D. Jakes. “I urge anyone who is looking to get ahead in their career to be one of the first to sign up.” 

The entrepreneurship courses will begin later this month on July 25, while the digital media and church media courses begin on July 30, and the project management courses start Aug. 1.

The T.D. Jakes School of Leadership is a partnership between Jakes and Regent University, a highly-ranked university and the nation’s leading academic center for Christian thought and action.

Along with the certificate programs, the T.D. Jakes School of Leadership offers online resources and leadership institutes for professionals, emerging leaders, entrepreneurs, executives and business leaders. These courses will be offered through various channels including online study and a special visiting lecture series taught by Jakes. Class participants will obtain specialized masters’ level training in fields such as business, technology, health care, law and ministry.

The T.D. Jakes School of Leadership will also host a series of workshops at MegaFest, being held on Aug. 29-31 for the first time in Dallas. MegaFest combines Jakes’ most popular conferences: ManPower, Woman Thou Art Loosed, MegaYouth and MegaKidz, with plenty of faith, entertainment and business features for the entire family.
