Disaster Relief

The Potter’s House Ft. Worth is actively engaged in supporting disaster relief efforts due to the worsening conditions associated with Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. In addition to prayer, there are other ways that you can get involved with the hurricane relief efforts. Whether you reside in Ft. Worth or other areas around the globe, your good deeds will make a tangible difference in the lives of the hurricane survivors.
In Matthew 5:16 the Bible saysLet your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Therefore, we have partnered with The David Maldonado Foundation in order to increase our relief efforts in Puerto Rico by offering financial and humanitarian support.  The David Maldonado Foundation is dedicated to providing humanitarian relief assistance to churches, families, schools, and communities nationally and abroad.  Currently, the relief efforts in Puerto Rico have been organized in conjunction with DMF based on their organizational overview for partnering and disseminating coordinated activities from mainland America into Puerto Rico, specifically for the families affected by this natural disaster. In the Bible, it also states; “that faith without works is dead”, therefore we pray that you will consider serving or donating in the following ways.
Serve as a Volunteer:
The Potter’s House Ft. Worth team offers many ways for volunteers to help with hurricane relief efforts by assisting us with packing and sorting hurricane donations that are dropped off weekly at our campus. If you are interested in volunteering, please click here and complete the form then we will forward you all the upcoming disaster relief volunteer efforts. Donate New Items:
Imagine attempting to prepare for the day ahead without having soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, or toilet paper, among other toiletries. For survivors of the recent hurricanes, many are without these items, and more. When you generously donate these new items to TPHFW Receiving Center during the month of October you’re providing families, including those with infants, the basics they need.
